Warranty provisions

To achieve the highest quality, I, Jackie, have all my jewellery made by hand by the most skilled goldsmiths in Europe. The goldsmiths make every Jackie piece of jewellery in 14-carat gold by hand and with the greatest care. Craftsmanship and quality go hand in hand.

Every piece of jewellery from Jackie is sold with a warranty. There are a few rules associated with this:

The warranty commences on the date of purchase, as stated on the invoice. You can return the jewellery with the accompanying invoice to qualify for the warranty. According to the return form, the shipment must be registered via jackiegold.nl. Of course, you can also go to your nearest Jackie dealer. These can be found on the website under points of sale.

If a complaint or defect falls within the warranty, I will immediately repair or replace it for you. I will contact you first if the warranty does not cover the jewellery. If you are unsure whether the warranty conditions cover the defect, you can contact me at [email protected], and I will be happy to take a look with you.

You will only receive your money back if you return your Jackie jewellery within the 14-day return period.

Jackie jewellery warranty period

I give a 12-month warranty against production errors on all Jackie jewellery.

What is not covered under warranty:

  • Breakage (unless it is a demonstrable production error)
  • Improper use or incorrect handling and wear damage during everyday use
  • Discolouration due to the use of water, perfume, soap, lotion or hairspray
  • Discolouration due to high skin acidity
  • Processing and/or adjustment by people other than goldsmiths designated by Jackie (for example, you have had your ring altered)

Proper treatment is essential to enjoy your Jackie jewellery for a long time. I only use the best materials and genuine gemstones made by European goldsmiths. However, jewellery is subject to wear and tear, and accidents can happen anywhere. Wear your Jackie jewellery with care.

Important tips for maintenance and use of your Jackie jewellery :

  • Remove the jewellery before exercising, doing housework or other rough work.
  • Remove your jewellery before sleeping or swimming and store it in a suitable box.
  • Protect your jewellery against scratches and damage
  • Avoid contact between your Jackie jewellery and chemicals such as perfume and cleaning products
  • If your Jackie jewellery contains pearls, I recommend that you apply perfume before wearing your jewellery. This way, the pearls retain their beautiful shine. Hairspray and other cosmetics can also damage the pearls!
  • Do not clean your jewellery with chemicals or polish it with a rough cloth. Preferably use a jewellery cloth from Connoisseurs
  • Pearls and silver may discolour, even with normal use

Legal guarantee

All Jackie jewellery is covered by the legal warranty. This means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. Jackie's guarantees are in addition to this legal guarantee and do not affect the intended legal rules.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about a Jackie piece of jewellery, the Jackie website or the Jackie service, please send me a message at [email protected]. I can be reached by telephone at 085-9022216 from Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

You will then receive instructions from me for handling the complaint. I will ensure a quick and correct solution if it proves to be justified. I will try to provide you with a solution within three working days. You will receive a substantive response from me no later than 14 days after receipt of the complaint.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint together, you can contact the Disputes Committee via www.sgc.nl and/or the Online Dispute Resolution.
